The demand for cost effective sustainable buildings is growing. Reducing environmental impact makes clear business sense and the challenging economic climate is focussing attention on the need to manage construction and operating costs, improve productivity and protect the bottom line. However, unless sustainable design options are considered and built in at an early stage by experts, building low environmental impact buildings can be costly - particularly to the new or inexperienced client.

In response to client and industry calls for a formal recognition of specialist skills in design of more sustainable buildings BRE Global is introducing a new BREEAM Accredited Professionals qualification.

BREEAM AP status will enhance your standing as a leading professional specialising in sustainability and environmental design and open up new fee earning potential for you. The introduction of the BREEAM AP qualification is a significant step forward for the sustainable buildings movement and is already generating considerable interest amongst leading industry players.

Up to two credits are available under BREEAM 2008 for the comprehensive use of a BREEAM AP throughout a project.

Candidates who hold current accreditation as a Licensed/Qualified BREEAM Assessor
