BREEAM Other Buildings - Tailored Criteria
Tailored Criteria- Criteria are developed specifically for a particular building type and usually for a specific client.
- Used for either a single specific building or for a defined number of similar buildings for the same client.
- The assessment criteria uses the current BREEAM assessment structure and common BREEAM criteria, but with amendments and additions (where appropriate) to tailor the assessment criteria to reflect the unique use and sustainability opportunities of the building and the client (whilst also maintaining high environmental standards and the BREEAM brand).
- The cost of this service depends on the building type and the scope of the project.
Current examples of Tailored Criteria are:
- Whitbread Premier Inn
- Forestry Commission Visitors Centres
- Fire Stations
