Before you contact an assessor have an idea of the level you would like your development to achieve:
PASS
GOOD
VERY GOOD
EXCELLENT - Contact a licensed assessor
At the concept design stage (or as early as possible in the design process) an assessor should be involved to ensure the performance of the building is maximised for least capital cost. Contact a licensed assessor to obtain an assessment quote. Your assessor will also be able to help you understand what needs to be implemented into your design to achieve the desired rating.
Please visit BREEAM assessment organisations to contact a licensed assessor - Information
You will need to provide your assessor with information to complete the assessment. Your BREEAM assessor will require the assistance and co-operation of the entire design team in the information gathering stage. - Quality assurance
On completion of the BREEAM assessment your assessor will forward a copy of the report to BRE's BREEAM Office for quality assurance. - BREEAM certification
Once BRE has quality assured your assessment your development will be certified and details of your development added to the BREEAM Database.
