How to become a licensed Ecohomes assessor

In order to become an Ecohomes assessor you must complete the Ecohomes Assessor Top Up training. This Top Up training is available to qualified Code for Sustainable Homes assessors only.

The Top Up is a remote self study module, meaning you are able to study the provided material remotely, and then attend the examination at BRE Watford at a later date. The module consists of a self study period, the Ecohomes examination and completion of the Ecohomes test assessment. Once you have booked the Top Up, you will be provided with access to our unique trainee extranet, from which you are able to download the relevant study material. This includes the Ecohomes technical guidance, and full details of the Ecohomes test assessment. You have 3 months to complete the test assessment and sit your examination, from the date you receive the Extranet login details.

Training Fees
The fee to cover the training material, examination and test assessment is £350 + VAT.

Examination
The exam is a 60 minute multiple choice examination. The pass mark is 65%.
