DIFNI are piloting BREEAM DE with an initial focus on a German version of BREEAM International In-Use, called BREEAM DE Bestand.
DIFNI has developed an advisory board for the development of the scheme, which will regularly share their experiences and market observations with for office, commercial and industrial assets.
Members include Arcadis Germany GmbH, Roux Germany GmbH, TÜV SÜD ImmoWert GmbH, Ove Arup GmbH Germany and Redevco Services Deutschland GmbH.
In addition to an expert panel, the experts, who will implement the system adaptation in Germany together with DIFNI, are:
BREEAM has previously been used in Germany in projects such as the 52,000m2 Centrum Galerie shopping centre in Dresden and the Pollux building in Frankfurt, the first BREEAM In-Use Excellent in Germany.
